Bands Reunited

Bands Reunited is a television program produced by VH1 in 2004. Hosted by Aamer Haleem, the show documented an attempted reunion of a formerly popular musical ensemble for a special concert in either London or Los Angeles. A show normally consisted of the crew first hunting down the ex-members of the band one-by-one, and convincing them to agree for the one-time concert; the members were "contracted" by signing a record album by their former band. The band members were then interviewed, usually focusing on the reasons of the breakup. The final segment would consist of the formal reunion of the band in the rehearsing studio, and a joint interview about why the group parted ways. If the reunion was successful, the episode ended with the final performance. In 2005, VH1 attempted to reunite the British band The Smiths, but the show abandoned its attempt after Aamer Haleem was unsuccessful in his attempt to corner lead singer Morrissey before a show.

The Cadets is a 2004 Russian TV series about a class of Soviet artillery officer cadets going through training prior to their commissioning and entry into the Battle of Stalingrad during World War II. The ten parts series are based on the memoirs of Pyotr Todorovsky and directed by Andrei Kavun. The US DVD release of the series was done as two volumes with two discs in each volume.

Free Agents is a romantic black comedy starring Stephen Mangan, Sharon Horgan and Anthony Head. Originally a pilot for Channel 4 in November 2007, the series began on 13 February 2009. Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star was a reality competition show, created by Oprah Winfrey. The show aired from January 7, 2011 to February 25, 2011 on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Hosted by Nancy O'Dell and Carson Kressley, it featured ten prospective television hosts competing to earn their own television show on the OWN network. Each week, the contestants competed in a themed-television show challenge, where they were watched and judged by O'Dell, Kressley, and a guest judge and mentor, whose expertise is in the theme that week. After the production and filming, one contestant was eliminated, until the best host remained. Zach Anner and Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco were both chosen as the winners. Besides winning their television show, the champions also received $100,000 and a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. The executive producer was Mark Burnett, who has produced many reality competitions, such as The Apprentice, Survivor, and Design Star.
