LAU WING FU nearly forgets the dating with his girl-friend HEUNG YEE YAN after a late night's work. He rushes to see YEE YAN who is an aerobics instructor in her sister HEUNG BIK YAN's health centre. BIK YAN despises FU for being a poor writer. FU wants YEE YAN to marry him but YEE YAN still enjoys single life. FU's best friend NG KO thinks of a plot........ FU must make YEE YAN believe that he really needs a housewife. So FU invites his auntie MAN CHING who is only a primary student to stay in his house. FU throws the rubbish around to set the house in a mess. He switches on the air-condition high to let himself catch cold in order to get the sympathy of YEE YAN. But as soon as YEE YAN gets to the house, everything is in its proper place for MAN CHING has tidied up the house already. FU's plot is proved a total failure.
The novelist and columnist Jin Yinzhu (played by Cheng Yuling) is full of fantasy, sensitive and suspicious. The tenant Wei Lou (played by Feng Weilin) originally loved Zhu, and was very sad about Zhu's death. Seeing his sister appearing, he was determined to help Zhu find out the evidence of killing his wife, which caused a lot of jokes.
