YIN pretended to be LAI's lawyer to see TIM. YIN helped TIM to deliver the ransom but was shocked to see NGAI's killing on the spot. LAI acknowledged NGAI's death and bribed the Philippine police to kill TIM. Luckily TIM was saved by the troops who kidnapped HANG. TIM found HANG was alive and that WAI had been sold to the hillside area. To save HANG, TIM split with HANG to distract the troop. TIM eventually got a lift on NICK's car. Suddenly the police came. LAI was furious about NGAI's death and he took out on PING. PING voiced out her sad grievance and their tension eased. At NGAI's funeral, KAN came to play tribute but was rejected.
